Mosaic Mandala Workshop
Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Design and create a beautiful and completely unique 12” x 12” mosaic mandala for interior or exterior display. You will learn about the types of glass applicable to mosaic arts and how to use mosaic tools to cut and shape the colorful, luminescent glass into tesserae (the pieces that make a mosaic).  You will learn about glass mosaic design, double indirect method, direct method, grouting techniques, adhesives, substrates, terminology, and techniques for finishing mosaic projects. 

All tools and materials are provided in class. Please bring lunch for our mid-day break on Saturday.  No previous mosaic experience necessary. However, the more mosaic experience you have the more detail you will be able to incorporate into your design. Register early, this class is limited to only 10 students!
